STTEP – Student Testing, Tracking and Enhancement Program
Historically, highly achieving students at Billanook were invited to join our Dimensions program, which provided the opportunity to show their strength in learning and extra-curricular activities. A review of the College’s previous program indicated that there was need for greater emphasis on the following:
In response to these requirements, the College has developed, and is piloting a new program of identifying, supporting, tracking and enhancing high achieving students:
Student, Testing, Tracking and Enhancement Program – STTEP.
STTEP at Billanook College supports students who show a high level of general ability, identified through a range of assessments and various tracking tools. The College recognises that all children need educational opportunities that are consistent with their level of ability and skill in order to confidently explore their potential.

In 2019 Billanook College’s STTEP initiative is being piloted in the Secondary School (Years 7-12) and based on review, will rollout across our Primary School in 2020.
