On 27 July 2018, the Billanook community gathered to officially open the new Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.
It was the vision of the Billanook founding families in 1980, and the continued ethos of the College to support the learning of all children. The Dame Phyllis Frost Centre at Billanook has provided a learning hub and inspiration for hundreds of students who have utilised the centre on their learning journey.
Our staff in The DPFC provide an invaluable contribution to the lives of these students, designing and developing personalised education programs for students with a diverse range of special needs.
Our new, contemporary space, provides students with:
• Significantly larger learning areas
• Multiple conference areas for small group work
• Quiet reflective spaces
• Designated meeting rooms for support group meeting and student conferences.
Billanook is committed to the long-term support of all students and as such we offer our appreciation to our generous donors for their valuable contribution to the ongoing transformation of the College, and for Supporting each mind to soar.
If you would like a personal tour of Billanook’s new DPFC Centre, please contact Mrs Jo Reed, 03 9724 1179, alternatively the College has a School at Work Tour on Thursday 11 October, at 9.30am (Click here to RSVP)
