2020 Years 5-9 General Excellence Scholarships

All General Excellence Scholarship applicants will be required to participate in the Scholarship Testing which will be held at Billanook College on Saturday 23 February 2019.

In addition to the Scholarship Testing, students are required to provide evidence to support the following:

• Academic achievement and potential
• Excellence in one or more areas, other than academic (e.g. music, leadership, co-curricular interests)  
• A high level of application to all classroom and extracurricular activities
• The potential to make a positive contribution to all College activities

In addition to supplying the above supporting documentation, applications also require:

• A copy of your child’s end-of-year reports
• A copy of your child’s latest NAPLAN results

Based on this interview and Scholarship Testing results, students may be offered a scholarship.

General Information:

Scholarships are tenable for the duration of a student’s time at Billanook College. You may apply for both an Academic and a General Excellence Scholarship on the one application.

Scholarship Testing will be held at the College on Saturday 23 February 2019 for all applicants.

The majority of Scholarships offer a remission of 50% of the annual Tuition Fee (Composite Fee not included). In some instances a larger or smaller remission of the Tuition Fee may be offered at the College’s discretion.

For example, students offered a 50% Year 7 2019 Scholarship were required to pay $11,795 for the year.  Please click here to view the 2019 Fee Schedule.

Please Note:

General Excellence Scholarships for Years 5, 6, 8 & 9, 2020 are not open to existing Billanook College students. However, Billanook College Year 6, 2019 students are invited to apply for the Year 7, 2020 General Excellence Scholarship. This Scholarship is not available to Full Fee Paying Overseas Students (FFPOS).
