Study Tours

An important element of the Billanook College International Program is the opportunity to welcome Groups of Students with accompanying staff to enjoy a Study Tour or Short-Stay Study Program. 


Study Tours typically last for a period of 7 – 10 days under the full guidance and coordination of an appointed Billanook College Study Tour Coordinator.  

  • Minimum Study Tour Participant Age :  10 Years
  • Required Number of Participants : 15 – 40 Students

Each and every Study Tour Program will vary depending upon :

  • Age and English level proficiency of the student participants
  • Extent of interaction with local student classes requested
  • Balance requested between formal learning and cultural experiences.
  • Mode of accommodation requested
  • Level of responsibility for activities assumed by client or their Agent

A detailed, group specific, Study Tour Service Agreement is created by Billanook College as a binding arrangement between the College and each Agent/client.

 Billanook College welcomes students of all ages to enjoy the opportunity of a full class immersion experience, for a specified short-term enrolment period.

Typically these placements are based on the following arrangements :

  • The Student being accompanied by a parent who assumes full responsibility for accommodation and student welfare
  • Duration of enrolment : Minimum 2 Weeks – maximum 10 weeks on a Visitor Visa
  • Involvement in learning with local students of a similar age

Application for our Short Stay Program placement may be made directly by the family or may be lodged via an Education Agency.
